Biography

Dr. Kenji Ojima studied dentistry at the University of Showa, Tokyo, Japan, and conducted postgraduate studies in orthodontics at the University of Showa, Department of Orthodontics. In 2007 Dr. Ojima started his private practice, Hongo Sakura Orthodontics, in Tokyo and was joined by associates Drs. Dan, Kumangai and Nishiyama. Dr. Ojima is the Asian chapter president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics, and president of the Japan Academy of Aligner Orthodontics. A renowned presenter in Japan, Italy, Germany, Korea and the United States, Dr. Ojima’s recent engagements include 2014 speaker at the DGAO, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Aligner Orthodontie; 2014 Keynote Speaker at the Japan Academy of Aligner Orthodontics; and 2014 Best Oral Presentation awarded at SIDO, Italian Society of Orthodontics. Dr. Ojima is an Invisalign Diamond Provider and primary author of Journal of Clinical Orthodontics’ August 2014 case report, “Accelerated Extraction Treatment with Invisalign.” Dr. Ojima will be presenting on accelerated orthodontic treatment at the American Association of Orthodontics’ 115th Annual Session, San Francisco, CA.
