Tooth Anatomy

Tooth anatomy comprises various structures, each playing a crucial role. The outermost layer, enamel, is a hard, shiny substance that shields the inner structures, preventing the entry of bacteria. Underneath, dentin, a softer substance, contains fluid-filled tubules that protect and transmit sensations from the tooth to the jawbone nerves.
